I keep trying to create MXF DV XDCam files but MXFTk Front-End refuses to wrap my source filesIn order to create DV XDCam files you need to indicate the relevant sources. In the MXF file creator Wizard, select XDCam DV in the drop-down box. Then select five media files: one should be a 25 Mbit/s DV IEC file and the four others, stereo WAV or AES files. I keep trying to create MXF Panasonic P2 files but MXFTk Front-End refuses to wrap my source files In order to create P2 files you need to indicate the relevant sources. In the MXF file creator Wizard, first select P2 in the drop-down box. This will create 5 parallel source packages. You then need to place a file in each of these packages. The first package should contain a 25 or 50 Mbit/s DVCPRo file and each of the remaining packages, a single mono WAV or AES file. Hit the "Next" button. Because P2 sequences are split into several files, the result of the wrapping won't be a single MXF file. Instead you will get a directory structure similar to the one that produces a P2 camcorder on a solid state memory card. In the appropriate page of the Wizard, select the destination directory and enter a 6-character base name that will be used to name the resulting P2 files. ^^summary^^
