INGEST YOUR MATERIAL IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS

OpenCubeHD/SD allows you to capture video content in a number of different formats including Mpeg2HD 4.2.2, DNxHD®, DVCProHD and AVC-Intra, wrapped with the appropriate metadata-enabled MXF wrapper, and with native P2 and XDCamHD® support.

The server ensures the quality of your video and also makes efficient use of the MXF format for audio track management and wrapping VANC/VBI information into S436M tracks.

The system can be controlled in different ways: via an intuitive GUI, using VDCP protocol, or through a simple SOAP Web Services API. It also offers a full tape emulation using RS422 interface in playback and record.

BOOST HD PRODUCTION WITH NETWORKED STORAGE

OpenCubeHD/SD is a turnkey system and a highly effective HD gateway between your video equipment and the editing environment.

Its scalability enables it to connect to your existing IT infrastructure, whether SAN or NAS. Digitized media can be directly dropped on a distant storage without local copy for confidence viewing, quality control and editing during ingest.

OpenCubeHD/SD is delivered with edit-oriented GUI for simple and straightforward media manipulation: browsing, checking, logging, ingest batching, consolidation and repurposing.

Smooth video data traffic

OpenCubeHD/SD is an open, powerful and scalable platform. Based on a non-proprietary file system under Linux, it offers users easy access to their uncompressed media, with resulting gains in productivity.Fully compatible with HDTV RGB 444 in real-time, OpenCubeHD/SD is the optimal solution for digitalizing media video content from a Video Tape Recorder and speeding up video data access.

With OpenCubeHD/SD there is no need to import or convert, as the media are captured, played back and exchanged in a simple manner and in their native format. This ensures full interoperability in exchanges between different production environment platforms.

OpenCubeHD/SD servers can be easily connected to production networks, whether SAN or NAS, and media displayed through the network and applications launched from a distance (remotely). The OpenCube Server's internal storage capabilities can be upgraded without difficulty using standard technology hard disks.

Link up with a flexible environment

The OpenCubeHD/SD application incorporates a handy, easy-to-use Graphical User Interface. A Standard independent Timeline makes it a simple matter for users to handle media for Derushing, Cut Editing or Video format conversion.

RGB 444 Option

MXF Option

OpenCubeHD version 2.3 can be delivered with Dual Link HDSDI to interface Telecine and VTR in RGB mode. It enables users to digitalize real-time frames in RGB 444 on their hard drives in an open environment.OpenCubeHD offers the possibility of integrating MXFTk® technology, allowing users to convert their SDTV and HDTV stream directly into MXF files with automatic metadata fill-in for Archive and Media Asset Management applications.
